Allowed with PCM, PCB, Commerce and Humanities, and useful in all of them.
What it is
Micro and macro economics, statistics for economics, and Indian economic development. It needs reading, graphs and simple data work.
Why add it
It is a CUET domain test accepted for many programmes, a UPSC optional later, and the base for BA Economics, B.Com, BBA and finance. Science students who add it keep management and economics routes open without Commerce subjects.
Pairing
With Mathematics it is the strongest humanities and commerce combination. Without any maths it still works for B.Com and BBA at many universities.
