How GradRun scores your test
What goes into the profile, the stream fit, the subject scores and the combinations.
Interests
Interest questions are scored on a five-point scale into the six RIASEC types. Your top three types, strongest first, form your Holland code. Favourite subjects and areas of curiosity add a small weight.
Abilities
The Quick test uses your self-ratings. The Full test adds real aptitude questions in numerical, verbal, logical, spatial and mechanical reasoning, which replace the self-ratings for those dimensions. Creative, people, digital and memory scores come from interests and work-style answers.
Subjects and combinations
Each subject carries weights on the same types and abilities. Your fit for a subject is the match between its weights and your profile. Combinations are built from your best-fitting subjects under CBSE rules (one language, exclusions, Basic Maths constraint) and scored as the average fit of the electives.
Limits
This is guidance from one day's answers. It is not a standardised psychometric assessment and should start conversations, not end them.
Guidance based on the CBSE scheme of studies and public exam bulletins. Confirm rules with your school and the official sources before deciding.
