A vocational subject with practical work, offered under CBSE skill education.
Skill subjects such as Artificial Intelligence (843), Information Technology (802) and Financial Markets Management (805) have a lighter theory load and a strong practical component. They can be one of your five main subjects or the optional sixth.
If you fail an academic elective and pass a sixth skill subject, CBSE can replace the failed subject with the skill subject in your result. Most central universities map CUET domain tests to academic subjects, so keep enough academic subjects if you are aiming for them.
