Cut-off
The minimum score or rank at which a college or course closed its admissions in a given round.
Cut-offs change every year with the number of applicants and seats. They are a guide to difficulty, not a rule. Delhi University publishes CUET-based cut-offs; engineering and medical counselling publish closing ranks.
