Subject block (timetable block)
The groups of subjects a school can timetable together.
Schools cannot timetable every possible combination, so they publish blocks: for example, Block A offers Physics or History, Block B offers Chemistry or Political Science. You pick one subject from each block.
Ask your school for its blocks before you decide. A combination that CBSE allows may still be unavailable at your school, and the blocks differ from school to school.
