Eligibility

Class 12 in any stream, passed or appearing. Two attempts in consecutive years. Age limit of 25 (30 for SC/ST/PwD).

Pattern

Part A is computer-based (numerical, multiple-select and multiple-choice questions on visualisation, observation, design sensitivity, logic and language). Part B is a drawing and design question answered on paper.

What this means for Class 11

  1. A portfolio of sketches and projects builds the observation skills Part A tests; Painting (049) or Graphics (050) in Class 11 helps.
  2. Many design aspirants take UCEED, NID DAT and NIFT in the same season.
