State engineering and medical CETs
State-level common entrance tests such as MHT-CET, KCET, WBJEE, TS EAPCET, AP EAPCET, KEAM and COMEDK.
Class 12 subjects
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for engineering; Physics, Chemistry and Biology for pharmacy and agriculture streams in most states.
Eligibility
Usually Class 12 with the relevant subjects and 45% to 50% aggregate; many states give preference or reservation to candidates who studied in that state.
Pattern
Objective tests based largely on the state board or NCERT syllabus for Class 11 and 12, with less emphasis on Class 11 than JEE in some states.
What this means for Class 11
- Keep your domicile documents ready; state quotas depend on them.
- These exams follow NCERT closely, so your Class 11 and 12 syllabus is the preparation.
