Eligibility

Class 12 passed or appearing. Age limit of 24 for the general category (relaxed for reserved categories).

Pattern

General Ability Test (quantitative ability, communication, English comprehension, analytical ability and general knowledge). B.Des candidates also take a Creative Ability Test and shortlisted candidates face a Situation Test.

What this means for Class 11

  1. Textile Design (829) and Painting in Class 11 feed straight into the Creative Ability Test.
  2. B.FTech is an engineering-style course and needs PCM, unlike B.Des.
