Eligibility

Class 12 with Mathematics and English. Students who have qualified for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad are exempted from the written test at ISI.

Pattern

Objective and subjective mathematics papers that reward olympiad-style problem solving, followed by an interview at ISI.

What this means for Class 11

  1. Mathematics (041) is compulsory; Applied Mathematics does not qualify.
  2. Olympiad preparation from Class 9 or 10 is the usual path here.
