The common entrance for five-year integrated law degrees at the National Law Universities.

Class 12 subjects

Any stream. No specific subject is required.

Eligibility

Class 12 with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for Class 12 can apply. No upper age limit.

Pattern

Two-hour pen-and-paper test of 120 passage-based questions: English, Current Affairs with General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques (Class 10 level maths). Negative marking of 0.25.

What this means for Class 11

  1. Reading speed matters more than any subject: English Core, Political Science and Legal Studies in Class 11 help the most.
  2. Quantitative Techniques are Class 10 level, so Basic Maths students are not disadvantaged.
